Us
SIYAZI operates nationally with offices based in Free State, Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, Limpopo, Mpumalanga and the North West. SIYAZI is a registered member of the Consulting Engineers of South Africa.
About us
SIYAZI is an award winning South African transport solutions provider that services both the public and private sectors. The company’s main service focusses on public transport planning/development and traffic engineering for public sector and private sector.
We work with clients in different industries including mining, shopping Centre developments, office parks, residential buildings, town planning and mixed-use developments. Our services include but not limited to:
- Traffic Impact Assessments and Site Traffic Impact Assessments;
- Rezoning and wayleave applications;
- Design of parking layouts, public transport facilities and traffic signals;
- GIS mapping, and
- Providing traffic engineering input in town planning schemes, site plans, mixed-use developments and road safety assessments.

CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
SIYAZI often goes beyond the call of duty and assists in areas outside the transport field. This includes helping our clients find new business opportunities and improving the skills of their personnel.
In addition to serving our clients, we also believe in leaving a positive impact in the areas we work in. We have a long-standing policy of hiring local youth to assist in our data collection, and we continuously support youth training and community outreach programs in the areas where we work.
FACILITATING CONSULTATION AND NEGOTIATION
In addition to our core services we are also trusted taxi industry advisors at local to national level. We have been instrumental in mediation between the industry and the private sector and public sector. This includes facilitating agreements for the management and use of taxi facilities located in malls, provision of services to and from new developments and conflict resolution within the industry.
EFFICIENCY AND RELIABILITY THROUGH TECHNOLOGY
In 2017 Siyazi moved away from pen-and-paper and developed in-house digital applications for use in data collection and analysis. This allows us to improve accuracy and reduce project turnaround time by eliminating the need to manually capture collected data.
Our applications have been used in multiple projects for conducting traffic counts, analysing public transport operations and utilisation, and determining the economic value of public transport routes.

My history with Siyazi goes back to the early 1980s. Their role in the taxi industry was to transform the industry from where it was some decades ago to where it is today, and his contribution has been one that has continued throughout the years.
Twin City is a property development company that develops shopping centres, mostly in rural areas. Twin City was introduced to SIYAZI 20 years ago. SIYAZI provides the following services to Twin City: independent facilitator and mediator services within public transport, traffic engineering, geometric designs, and obtaining statutory requirements and approvals.
